Yeah mine doesn't look like that at all. I'm using the stock TouchWiz launcher

I delete the search bar on any of my phones so I can't look to see if it's changed any.

I'm using TouchWiz with the Simple Black theme from Samsung's Store. Maybe it was updated recently and I didn't realize it till today. It used to be opaque with sharp corners. Either way I like this look better. I didn't notice it till after the update.

I keep it but on a secondary home screen. I don't like it on my main screen either.

Another thing I've noticed is a huge jump in signal. May just be cosmetic. Haven't had time to check the actual signal using an ap.
