T-mobile OTA update? Dec/12/14

An update came up on my G2. A bit hesitant to update. I want to know if anyone has done so and had any problems..

It could be a maintenance update. Is there a build or update number available for reference?

Only thing i noticed chaned was the Portuguese id voice, changed what she says lol.

I did the update it changed to software version g. Still 4.4.2 unfortunately as I figured it was 4.4.4. It breaks root via towelroot if you're worried about that. Can't really tell any changes. The OK Google bug is still present (if you turn off on-screen phone ok Google works but you can't record videos). Still no recents button option, no G3 Ui updates which I swear LG said they were bringing to the G2.

Anyway I'm glad to see T-Mobile hasn't forgotten about the G2 entirely just yet.

The update managed to log me out of my Google account and start the "Unfortunately, Google Play Services have stopped."

I updated my LG G2 today. So far I've noticed zero changes. I really hope they fix the battery life with this one. The KitKat update on the T-Mobile G2 is known to drain battery life. I haven't tested this new update yet though. It's also interesting that this was a large update (200+ MB)

Thanks guys. I haven't updated yet. I want to keep my root. I'll stay on 4.4.2 for now. Until 5.0.1 comes for the g2.
