i wanted the fastest card that is compatible with the S8/S8+ to be in the phone in hopes that the card isn't the weak link that bogs down the phone's operations.

I got my s7 about a week and a half early. And my note 7 like 2 days early

There is also a person on XDA saying they got a UPS shipment notification and a different person saying their Samsung financing was charged.

Neither had quality proof, just screenshots with no solid details

I didn't use Samsung financing, but did order from Samsung's website and I don't have any tracking number or anything on my end yet. Just checked on my order status.

If indeed Tmobile is releasing it early, what about people who ordered from Verizon, Samsung.com, ATT and such? Do we have to wait until the end of next week? I thought Sprint says shipped 4/17 and ordering from samsung gets it before everyone else they said.
