T-Mobile prices

Was gonna post it here too but I just did it in the pre-order thread.

Well 9:01pm I'll be on Twitter to get mines rolling.

So since I have the Pixel 3axl I get $300. But it also says it's a virtual Express MasterCard credit. So it's not actually $300 off the price of the phone. Well that stinks. I want $300 credit on the spot not with a credit that will take forever to get.

for me, it stinks that tmobile is still, at t minus 13 hours, keeping Jump on Demand prices a secret.

what in the world are they doing?

i'm all set to go the samsung.com route and do the "purchase phone option" on my existing S10+ phone from Tmobile's JOD plan!

Probably because the prices are going to be outrageous.

they announced JOD pricing but it doesn't say if it's for regular customers, "well qualified" customers, or "ultra well qualified" customers.

there is a huge difference between those three tiers.

I have numerous times, on launch start time.

Are you JOD? That's what I was doing each time in recent years.

No JOD I'm on Jump! My Note 9 is more then 50% paid off but I'm keeping it. Going to trade my S8. Looks like Tmo is offering an extra 100 bones then Samsung for the S8.

What shipping do they use? Is it faster then Samsung?

T-Mobile uses UPS. From previous experience, people pre-ordering tend to get their phones around the same day no matter where they order from. You may have to ask them to upgrade your shipping to Next Day or 2-Day though.

Only drawback is that UPS does not deliver on Saturdays, even if it's an Overnight package. You have to request that service from UPS separately.

If history is any indication, we'll have the phone in our hands by March 4, maybe March 5 if we pre-order.

Went to my local T Mobile in the mall. They said they would have the displays out tomorrow when pre ordering goes live.

Just saw this on Reddit..."Just got the following from Tforce, which indicates no discount for super well qualified. Let's hope they told me inaccurate information (they tend to do this from time to time).

Appreciate you reaching out, and I'm happy to get some pricing info to you! :) Super well qualified users would see the following on JUMP! on Demand: S20 128GB: retails at $999.99, with a purchase option price of $210. Down payment of $249.99 + sales tax (on the down payment), with monthly payments of $30 + tax for 18 months. S20+ 128GB: retails at $1,199.99 with a purchase option price of $246. Down payment of $449.99 + sales tax (on down payment), leaving monthly payments of $28 + tax for 18 months. S20 Ultra 128GB: retails at $1,399.99 with a purchase option price of $282. Down payment of $649.99 + sales tax (on down payment), with monthly payments of $24 + tax for 18 months.

This kills JOD if true. If you JOD to S20 Ultra and wait 1 year to upgrade, you just paid $938 for that privilege, and have no phone to show for it. Yikes."

Ultra down payment is insane. And that's for super well qualified.

I hope this is wrong for their top credit tier... because that's too much even for the regular S20. I'll find out tonight.

They treat JOD like EIP :(

Tmo pre orders are live. Showing $649.99 +taxes down for me for Ultra.

Looks like TMobile bungled the EIP upgrade option for current customers. For new customers they're offering $0 down and $58/month for the Ultra 128GB. Jump 1 user calls in and they're told $650 down and $31 /month. Jump has always allowed post paid to finance (eip) phones for the new customer deal. Seems now T-Mobile is changing the rules. Yes, In aware the end result is the same $1400 .

On Twitter the rep told me $200 down for the 512gb ultra on EIP still in the process of ordering.

I didn't do the Jump option for the s10 because of the crazy down payments so I only have 2 months and my s9+ will be paid for. This time I ordered through Samsung and will drop the jump plans. I have been with them for 16+ years and always got a good deal with this this plan but with last year models it changed. Currently I am trading in my s9+ for the $300 credit with Samsung but I'm having second thoughts and considering paying the $300 so I can keep my 9+ for a backup. It is in excellent shape and I would have peace of mind knowing I had a great phone in case of an emergency.
