T-Mobile replaces 8GB's with 16GB's

Yes.
I ordered a replacement for my 8GB with warranty exchange and as I suspected (Because they don't sell 8GB models) they overnighted me a 16GB model.

This is just an FYI if you find yourself needing a replacement

your insurance automatically covers whatever phone you put your sim card into and use.
