T-Mobile Revvl 8 Pro vs Samsung A17

I can get one of these phones for free and I am back and forth on which to choose.

The Revvl 8 Pro has a better Chipset, 120hz Screen, twice the storage at 256GB and twice the RAM at 8GB.

The Samsung A17 has a better build quality, many more years of software support and better camera quality.

The Revvl phones tend to get little to no updates though, especially major OS updates. The Revvl 8 Pro claims to have already had a Major Android update from 14-15 right at launch. When I was using it in store it seemed to have some software glitches.

To me, it seems like it comes down to Hardware vs Software/Support... Which phone do you think would be the better "Free Phone"?

Hello and welcome to AC. It all depends on how you use your phone and if free how long do you have to keep it ? 3 years?. If you plan on doing a lot of multitasking, I'm not really too confident with the chip on the Samsung phone. Though nicer phone and camera along with longer updates is a big plus. I know absolutely nothing on the Revvl
