Apparently the s7 edge that I ordered on the 27th is already on back order and T-Mobile cannot offer me any information.

Awesome. At least when I have ordered my iPhones they give me some sort of estimation! This is already annoying :/

From what I've heard that's their stock line and any preorders should show up by the 11th. Tmobile usually ships a few early just to snag headlines.

Their website doesn't show or say anything about them being backordered. It still shows them as being in stock just as any other phone on the site.

I'm just saying what the rep told me when I tried to ask about an update on my order. She said she has no update, but they are all back ordered and she can't tell me when it will ship.

T-Mobile uses the term back order loosely, so I wouldn't read into that much until due date gets closer. For sure with any android preorders. If this were iPhone, that'd be another story.

The phone really isnt due til 3/11/16. If people are getting them a bit early, they are lucky, if not you just gotta wait for the regular date.

People getting them early was the reason I ordered mine yesterday. The website said nothing about them being backordered. I originally planned on waiting a few months to order so that I could get it overnighted.

I'm on vacation this week and I really don't want to hang out close to home wondering if it will be out for delivery the next day. I may just cancel my order tomorrow.

Check if they have charged you for the order yet. Mine is being delivered today after ordering on the 24th.

I went in to the local store yesterday (Feb 29) and placed and order for a black s7 edge and this morning (Mar 1) I got an email from UPS and its already out for delivery. I was not expecting anything to even come this week not even one day later. I don't have a case yet. I do live in Virginia which is close to the warehouse that's in Kentucky.

LOL you can't expect to get your phone early if you just pre-ordered it. The people that are getting their phone are the ones who pre-ordered early. Of course the phone will be on backorder now you wanted to long to pre-order it.

No where did the website say the phone was backorderd. It STILL TODAY does not say it is backorderd. When you place an order, it says delivery is free in 1-2 days.

I'm surprised that people aren't complaining more about the T-Mobile site. There is only one phone on the site that says it is backorderd and it is not the S7. Shipping still says 1-2 days when you order although there is no date listed like there normally is. There is nothing saying it is on back order.

It's back ordered as in, they're waiting on the next shipment. If you pre-ordered in the last day or two, expect to wait at least a week. I don't think that's too much to ask.

It's not to much to ask. Is it too much to ask that their website or emails tell you that it is back ordered? That's all I'm talking about.

All the email says is that I will receive a tracking # when my order ships.

Enjoy your phones, people that are getting them. I just cancelled my order and I'll order in a week or two. I'm on vacation. I'm gonna drive out to Vegas for a few days. Ciao.

Except T-Mobile did not promise early shipments, especially if you and I waited till now to pre order. As long as they have the phone to you by or before March 11th, they have full filled their promise. The last thing I would do if I were them is to start telling a bunch of people their order is delayed, only to then get shipments in today or tomorrow. That would cause a lot of panic and potential refunds over nothing.

Ordered mines on 2/25. Got a tracking number on 2/29 which UPS said it was for a 3/1 delivery. Since it was late afternoon figured it would be a 3/2 delivery (today).

Today i checked UPS, still "Ready for UPS". Checked TMobile, was changed to "Shipped"

Called UPS. Was told that I had to call Tmobile to see if UPS did on fact pick it up. Called TMobile. Eventually after they got in touch with the right area, they told me that my order is in fact back ordered. Was told that I should be getting it by 3/12 though.

Got my hopes up I could have it a week early 😒
