T-Mobile Update Problem

Took an update yesterday from T-Mobile on my Note 9 and since the update I cannot answer my phone without taking time to unlock the phone. I have missed a couple of calls trying answer and then realizing the phone is locked.

Anyone else experienced this or have a solution? I have restarted several times with no success.
 
Just tried mine and it's not doing it (I can answer without issues). Here's a couple things I'd suggest.
1) Find the Phone app in the App Manager and clear cache.
2) Check your lockscreen settings and maybe even try changing the secure method to see if that helps. I'd also check the display timeout settings just in case.
3) Boot up into Recovery Mode and clear the phone's cache (NOT Data, that would wipe everything off your phone!).
 
I just called from my work phone and I was able to answer. I don't use my phone a lot for calls. But it was on screen lock and allowed me to answer.
 
It is strange that today, I received 2 calls that I was able to answer and 1 that required the unlock finger swipe. I cleared the cache and made a couple of test calls and things appeared normal. Thanks for the suggestion spookdroid. Hopefully this is the last of the problem.
 
If it comes back let us know so we can try to help, but if it does (hope it doesn't), you should definitely report the bug to TMo.
