Anyone hear any news regarding the US tmobile release date?

Sent from my Nexus 4

i talked to one of my friends who work in a t-mobile corp store.. he said he don't know anything about it.. i assume all carriers are just lost here

I checked at the Tmobile store. The guy seemed to know his stuff and said the rate plans will be changed on March 24th, so he figured that would be the launch date for the one.

24th is a Sunday. Just seen a person on AT&T's thread mention that they were told the 24th. Someone countered that and said they work for AT&T and that they only release on Friday so who knows if this a sign or not. LOL

Went to a tmo store, and the guy pretty much said the same thing, there will be a change in rate plan starting on the 24th, they are getting rid of contract plans. He suspect the release date will be the 26th and is expecting a demo unit late this week or early next week

If a phone is going to be released on Sunday, the shipment must come in on Friday or Saturday.. Because no US parcel delivers on Sunday, unless its coming in on a personal truck from a warehouse

Plenty of shippers deliver on Sunday, especially if you're a big customer and you pay for it.

Also, I hope its soon, and I hope that their new rate plans don't change too much. Now that the reviews are out, I've decided that the One is my next device and on T-mobile. I'm tired of VZW's BS, and want to stay with an unlimited plan. Plus, the One is future-proofed thanks to the inclusion of LTE, so its a no-brainer.

Has anyone confirmed that the HTC One will include WiFi calling? Unfortunately, that is a must and what keeps me on TMobile.

Just called Tmobile and was told that nobody has the phone or any information on a release date for the HTC One, but then she said something very interesting: "After speaking to my senior representative it seems as though the business reps have a pre-order list for business customers" I then got the information for my business representative and have shot him off an email. I will post his response on the forum tomorrow.

Just to let you guys know best buy has reported that they will start doing pre orders on the 25th (Which im assuming means all other carriers will) and they will have stock by the 29th..

I just seen on T-Mo News that the very earliest the HTC One will be available is very late or end of April. That is the earliest, so in other words sounds like later than that. If that is the case HTC is in for one hell of a tough ride. The SGS4 will probably be hitting the shelves by then and say by by to HTC. Whoever is behind the HTC sales dept needs to have their ass fired. I have always been a huge fan of the Samsung brand, everything about them, the innovation is just over the top. Samsung has been the only manufacturers that have listened to their customers and have given us what we ask. I feel the SGS4 is the premier phone in the world. IMO nothing else can touch it, hardware and software is just unbeatable. Everyone thinks metal phones are the best, that is just total bull . Look at the iphone-5, my sister's iphone-5 after one week is a total mess, it's all chipped and nicked up, small little dents all over it along it's edges. My SGS3, which I have had since about after one week it was on sale looks like the day I purchased it, not a mark on it and I don't use a case. Polycarbonate is the material of choice, any electronic device with a radio signal does much better with polycarbonate, metal devices most often interfere with radio signals ect. Wireless charging is also very difficult with metal devices and I could go on. You can keep the metal phones and all their hiccups, I will stick with my polycarbonate (plastic) phone and get extremely great results. One more thing, drop both phones from equal heights and see what that metal phone looks like, again the polycarbonate phone always wins.

Owned the Samsung Galaxy S 4G. The worst phone I have ever owned. Check the TMO discussions and see how many complaints. Bought the HTC Sensation & One S since and will never get a Samsung.

Yeah I think you are stuck in brand mode kind of like the Apple people are.

Fact is that most people prefer metal because it is of higher quality and does survive better against drops. If you want to look at your own example, the iPhone 5 was named the most unbreakable phone, well beyond the GS3. Plastic is cheap, and it is cheap for a reason. I doubt HTC got up one morning and said "well, plastic is cheaper, better to use, easier to manage, lasts longer, and is better in every way.... but we are going with metal." Yeah..... no. There is a reason HTC moved FROM polycarbonate unibodies to metal ones: they are better.

TouchWiz has never impressed me personally. This is completely a matter of opinion here, but I say that since HTC upgraded to Sense 4, TouchWiz couldn't touch it (pun completely intended). Not to mention that Samsung's AMOLED screens don't look near as good as HTC's LCD Panels. Just hold them side by side, you will see.

Don't get me wrong, I like Samsung devices. However, what you are saying is just fanboy talk....
