T-Mobile US RELEASE DATE?

Alright...

I have another question for T-Mobile pre-ordering.
If you pre-order the phone with new account, it's only $199.99, but there's no early termination fee for T-Mo anymore since they don't have contracts now.
Does that mean you could just pay $200 and walk out with the phone? If not, do you pay $200 ETF or do you pay another $450 for the no contract price??

I believe they are referring to the old contracted plans. Do you really think you can walk away with a flagship phone for $200? The non contract price is $650.

T-Mobile would just bill you the $20 a month. And if you cancel the service they'd charge you for full price.

You can order for T-Mobile thru HTC site. Go to shop and you'll see the phone there. I just placed one and it looks like lets talk is handling the orders.

How would this work if im on the new no contract plans though?

They have the option there for existing customers. So if you pay the 199 you'd then get billed by T-Mobile $20 a month (or whatever they charge for this phone). Or just buy straight up for 649.

Guys, T-Mobile is still letting people buy phones at unsubsidized price to start and just add the rest on your bill monthly. So even though all plans are now no contract they are still offering a way to get a phone with a small payment.

It doesn't show my plan though...??

Oh it only shows the old plans? If so then probably want to call them. I bought 2 at full price so I bypassed the carrier stuff.

What's the $20 for?

That's what T-Mobile said they would bill if someone bought a phone from them by using the down payment method. The amount does vary by device but the high end devices look to be between 18 and 20.

Do you not know about their new pricing method to get rid of contract but still offer customer devices a lower prices to start?

Yeah only shows classic plans. Call HTC you mean?

I've changed my mind again; I think I'm going to buy the Developers Edition. I really want the 64GB of storage and it looks like T-Mobile won't have that (I think Zoe's are gonna take a lot of space!). It irks me that if I want to get the AWS bands for 3G (the only difference I can tell on the T-Mobile version) I have to pay the same price as the Developers Edition but only get half the storage. We have 1900 3G here in Chicago, so I think I'll just pop for the Developers Edition, know it's unlocked, and be done with it.

I'm also really suspect of that "ships April 18th" date given all the other data that seems incorrect on the website (unless the reason for the T-Mobile delay is they're really getting some weird version with a removable back and microSD slot, but that seems even more unlikely than the 4/18 date :) ).

I ordered 2. A T-Mobile version for my wife and unlocked 32gb for myself. Just waiting on tracking Lol. Since I do prepaid the unlocked is perfect and we also get the 1900 band in our area too so I'm good on all fronts.

How did you order a T-Mobile version???

I been on hold for over an hour with HTC. I don't know how I would order one if I'm on T-Mobiles no contract plan. I really want the 64GB but I want to have the 1700/2100 in case I leave where I'm at I don't want toget stuck with a 650 phone on EDGE.

If you select the option that you're an existing T-Mobile customer, they provide you the choice to order the T-Mobile version at full cost without renewing or changing your current plan. I'd imagine you could just do that and then swap in your pre-paid SIM?

That'll probably work, but for the same price he could get a unlocked 64G DE. I'm in the same boat...
