T-Mobile (USA) update 9.0.16

A new Android 9 update, 9.0.16, for the T-Mobile (USA) carrier minority variant of the OnePlus 6T has begun rolling out.

The build date of this release is showing as the 16th December 2019

Changelog

• Android Security patch = November 2019
• Updated GMS to October 2019 (GMS = Google Mobile Services)

Camera version is yet again the same old 2.9.43 (TBC) (No update to camera for a year on TMO)
(You can update to the most recent OnePlus Android 9 global camera version 3.0.43)

This is the 11th T-Mobile (USA) update in 427 days. Roughly 1 update every 39 days

(N.B. This update is only for the T-Mobile (USA) minority carrier variant and NOT the global OnePlus 6T model)

T-Mobile (USA) are having a laugh!

My global model has had Android 10 for 2.5 months and has the November 2019 Android security patch for 2 weeks.

The rumours that T-Mobile (USA) users would not receive Android 10 until some time in Q1, (Jan: - Mar: 2020), are true then.

Carriers all mess crap up just for their own benefit. What a shame.

What is GMS? I'm finally going to try out the international conversion. I really want to see how the dual SIM standby functions
