though I'm definitely seeing some performance slow down, its probably performing background housekeeping after an epic sized update like that.

Probably, clean cache in recovery

Turn the device off then start and hold volume up and power button same time then clear cache , always good to get rid of old software update files won't delete any user data .

its a LITTLE better, but its definitely not as zippy as before, and the so called 'dynamic memory management' I have yet to see any evidence of.

I read it here..I dont see it in action...the overall system performance feels...like one's trying to hit 65 on the interstate..only to realize they've left the parking brake on for half the trip and thats why they're barely hitting 45.

Never seen them use that term , interesting.

yes after cache clearing.

let me put it this way...my battery widget app and accuweather BOTH took their sweet time on boot..and I actually had google tv crap out on me once while doing my 4k test run in today(was using it to search for ONLY 4k titles in my library since the app on tivo CANT sort/filter for jack)

so..I think its a so so right now.

..needs a little more time in the easy bake.

its misbehaving pretty badly with a few things so I elected to factory reset.

however I have a new problem. its been sitting on the 'samsung' white text black background screen for the past couple minutes.(read the time it took me to..answer nature's call) this..is NOT normal.

Advice please?

Give it few more minutes sometimes that happens

yeah..its cooperating, heck its running ALOT better after that, though I DID just give myself a metric -BLEEP-ton of work to do on top of my in progress move ^^;
