When I power down the Tab S at night and first power it up in the morning it will not read the SD card.
If I restart it then it will read it fine.

Anyone know what the problem could be?

Thanks.

I don't fully power down but let it go into standby. No problems that way. Is the card mounted in the Setting?

Edited to add: just powered it completely off and on and card was there with no issues. What type of card,
and, size, speed or class?

Yes, it's there in the settings. It's a SanDisk 64GB class 10.
Also the notification pops up saying SD card inserted when restarted.

I don't see any other settings or options that might control the card. Same card here.

Sorry - like the others, I just put mine to sleep. And I have a generic card from eBay, not a name brand, 128gb. Sometimes you will have to wait a few minutes when first installed - but once found I haven't had any problems. Even returning to Factory Default - the SD card was still there.

I do get a message asking about me un-mounting the sd card but since I have no idea what that means, I leave it alone.
