Tab S keeps downloading same apps as phone

Hey guys,

Just got a new Samsung Galaxy S Tab 10.5 and loving it. 1 thing is driving me CRAZY. It keeps downloading all the same apps that I have on my phone, if I delete it off the tablet it automatically downloads it again. How can I stop it synching the apps???

What happens if you disable "Sync app data" in account settings?

I had turned that off and it did keep downloading apps. However after a restart it seems to have worked, fingers crossed! Thanks!!!

The reason why is because they are linked with your Google accounts

Does disabling the synch app data stop it?

You need to disable Automatic Restore option in Backup and Reset settings on you Tab for it to stop downloading apps that you have on your phone.

Had the same problem.
What I did was to make a new email for any new device that I have.
That should fix the downloads.
