Tab S11+?

There isn't a plus sized tablet this year? I was hoping to downsize because for me the s10 ultra is just a little bit too big.

Correct. I won't even consider this year's models because the plus is the sweet spot imo. As expected, they've also nixxed the BT SPen if that matters to you.

Oh wow didn't even realize that there's no plus model this year. Very strange considering the disparity between the regular tab and the ultra. I'm sure they have their reasons.

It's disappointing to me. I was considering a new tablet as my Tab s6 is out of support, although it still performs well & my Tabs s8 Ultra, with the book cover keyboard, is just too big & heavy to be very portable.

It's been an expensive year for me, so I probably shouldn't be thinking about a new tablet anyway.

But I do think getting rid of the plus tablet is a mistake, along with the lack of support for the Bluetooth SPen.

I'd suggest looking at S10+. Maybe watch some reviews and see if it'll fit your needs. I believe it'll be a great improvement over your S6 and at a decent price.

This makes me glad I got my s10+. Although i love my phones to be ultra , the ultra tablets are just too big for me.

I didn't want a huge tablet s to replace my Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, so I got the Galaxy Tab S10FE. I'm happy with it.

I'll have to start studying up. It may be tricky trying to explain to my husband why I need another tablet.

He'd never tell me I couldn't, but I'd probably get 'the look'!

I looked at one, and really that's a laptop replacement. I have a laptop, thanks.

I might have gotten the plus except there isn't one. In the past I had a plus. The screen is beautiful, but it was kind of a beast to travel with. So I think I'm happy with an 11 regular.

I picked up the S11 last week on sale and really like it. An 11" tablet is the perfect size as the S11 Ultra is ridiculously large IMO. As you stated, I don't need another laptop

I categorize the tablet world into two groups: those who see some need for a laptop replacement, and those who don't.
For those who don't, even though a 12.4 is better at some things (like watching Netflix downloads on a plane!), it's not as versatile as an 11, which does everything reasonably well and is more portable.

Ps. The 12.4, more portable than the Ultra, isn't such a bad laptop replacement either. I had a laptop break on a business trip. Briefly panicked. Then, ran out and bought a bluetooth keyboard to pair with the 7+ I had with me. Worked well.
