Tab sizing

I've been researching these tabs a lot tonight and I can see that the 7.0 has a 7" screen.

Does anyone feel like they're just on a bigger version of their phone? I have an iPad 2 now and I'm looking to switch and I have small hands so I wanted something slightly smaller. Thus, this tab. I don't want to spend the money to feel like it's a bigger phone though.

Anyone get that feeling or do you feel you got what you were looking for out of the 7.0?

I own the GT2 7.0, and I don't get that feeling at all. The Galaxy Note phone (or phablet as it's also referred to) is a device that feels like an oversized phone...because it IS.

Personally, I prefer the 7 inch screen because it's easier to handle and transport. When I was first shopping for a tablet, I had my eye on the Asus Transformer series--until I lifted the display model and tried using it while holding it. Yeah, 10 inch screens are easier on the eyes and give you more room to work, but they are extremely awkward to handle!

I use my Tab 2 7 as a reader and a web surfer.... very ideal for that.. also videos while I'm sitting somewhere.. and the above post was correct .. ever try to read large book and try to hold it for very long???..

i totally agree. that's how i feel with my ipad. plus reading ibooks on that thing is awful. it's not good on your eyes at all. i recently took my ipad on an international trip and it was such a pain trying to balance it to watch movies at the airport. ugh. thanks for the input guys!
