I am considering purchashing a Galaxy Tab 8.9 to replace my bulky, old-fashioned, paper laden Franklin Covey daily planner. I am concerned, however, because I cannot seem to get any clarification on the availability of an application that will allow me to make handwritten notes like I do now in my planner. I find that while I am on the phone, or talking with a client in person, it is faster and more respectful, to write notes than to type them. Does anyone know of a such an app?

You should just check out the Android marketplace, FranklinCovey actually offers a couple of apps (didn't see an option for direct not taking) but you could always see if one of those fulfills part of your wants and then download a separate handwriting notes app.

I've found that nothing can really replace a pen and paper though so I switched to a Livescribe pen, best of both worlds really. I take notes and then upload them to Evernote and that way I always have them with me on the tablet.
