Didn't see an area for Asus tablets so....

I'm wondering if my tablet is on its way to a slow and agonising (for me) death.

Of late, apps have begun crashing or stopping quite frequently. I've also been getting pop up notifications that the Process System has stopped on a fairly regular basis. In some cases (e.g., AccuWeather) I've had to uninstall and reinstall apps in order to get them working again. The Play Store has begun popping up a stopped notification fairly regularly when apps try to update.

The tablet is an Asus TF700 running 4.2.1.

Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! I moved the post to the appropriate forum.

You may want to do a full factory reset. I'd normally suggest a cache partition wipe, but that isn't possible on the Transformer line, from what I remember when I had a TF300. By the way, after about a year and a half, my TF300 really started to lag as well. I wonder if it may have been due to a TRIM issue (i.e., the lack therof).

Thanks. I'd prefer not to have to do a reset, buy will if all else fails. I don't know what a TRIM issue is.
