Tablet problem

My brother gave my mother his old tablet but the problem is when she was taking pictures , the pictures did not go on her chip but stayed in the internal memory . How do you get those same pictures to go on the chip instead any feed back would be appreciated

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet? Open the Camera app, tap Menu>Settings, and look for an option to change the default save location. If the camera app doesn't have that option, then look in the main System Settings, in the Storage menu. If you don't see any option there, then you can't choose the SD card as the default save location--you'd have to move them using a file manager.
