I returned four 2013 nexus 7 tablets, all with serious issues (common, as described). I waited a month and just got one on Amazon last week, with NONE of the issues the first four had, and it was manufactured in September (the rest were manufactured in June and July). The point is, I was pissed, but waited, and am glad I got the Nexus 7. Plus, at $239 for the 32 GB, it's a great deal.

Thank you haalcyon!! However u did do a terrible thing when you pointed the LG g pad 8.3 to me. Once this hits SA I might purchase this as it sounds absolutely amazing. There's normally a 6 month delay on launch days between the US and SA so will be early to mid next year. And my girlfriend is already hinting she would like to take ownership of the note 8 if I were to to purchase the LG. So let's see what happens in 2014!
