Samsung Galaxy Note II: S Pen Lesson - YouTube

This is a first hands on and impressions video from Pocketnow.com. I am not sure if he loaded up a 3rd party launcher on his Note 2 since he doesn't mention it and since everything else looks like Touchwiz to me, but do you see those grouped icons on the bottom? Is that due to Jellybean? Is that a 3rd party launcher, or is that built into touchwiz?

I like it...any ideas?

How do u make folders look like that on ICS? I wanna do that on my GS3

Yeah, how do you do that on a GS3? Do you create a folder and put what you want in there and the drag the folder into the bottom? Was just wondering if what he did in that video was with stock software or if a 3rd party launcher is required?

Can you use the S Pen write out the body of an e-mail or text message or is the handwriting only used for contact lookup?

Touchwiz doesn't allow the simple dropping of one app onto another to create a folder which was introduced with ICS. You have to make a folder first and then drop stuff in it.

None of the other videos on the Note 2 showed how you can group apps together without creating a folder, and obviously the look on the GS3 when putting a folder into the dock is different than what can be seen on Note 2. It'll be interesting to see. Wish someone would put that into their review video.

I am currently running the Sprint Touchwiz Jelly Bean leak on my Samsung Galaxy S3. The way folders look is definitely different on Jelly Bean and it is exactly what you see in the video you posted. To create a folder, you have to first create it and then add apps (not place on top of each other, probably to avoid apple law suit). Then once the folder is created, you just drag and drop the apps into the folder. The look for folders on TouchWiz with Jelly Bean is what you see in the video and should be what is coming to the Galaxy S3 with jelly bean (at least the sprint version but probably all versions). Hope this is what you are looking for!

Cool, thanks for clearing it up!

As stated above you create a foldr first and then drop icons on it to add them. This is how they look on my note2 when created
