Taking a picture while on a call...

Why can't I take a picture while on a call? I could on my blackberry and my girlfriend can on her Moto Cliq. Any help will be appreciated on this subject.

not yet, but I spoke to Samsung and they said the Epic does not have this feature.

wow thanks for the tip. i dont really know when id ever need this.

but today i had to bust out my camera to take a picture of this waterfall that created from a flood. and had i been on a call this feature wouldve been handy

I tried the Vignette demo, and that worked while on a call.

it is crappy you can not do this on this phone. you should be able to. i used this feature a lot on my Pre. i can not wait till H/Palm gets new product to market.

i just got mine yesterday and have not needed to use it, nice to know now that i can not before being baffled later.

Just get the 3rd party app, and now you can!

i understand that kouki, i just figured i did not need several camera apps to make some things happen. and after looking at it on the store i realize why now, so they can make money.

its all good. i will work around it with out the extra cost associated with it.

Hmm. You can't do much when your on a call. I thought you were supposed to be able to browse the internet as well while on the phone.

You are supposed to be able to on 4G but not on 3G. Sprint's 3G network isn't set up to allow for simultaneous voice and data.
