Taking photos its mirroring help :(

Hi. I use the front camera to take photos. What is bothering with me is the picture when taken is mirrored? I don't know if mirrored is the right term for this but basically, when I take a front picture on my HTC M9 it shows my hair fridge is on the left but when I take the photo it's on the right. WHy is that? I want my left not right. SOrry if I'm confusing you. Can someone help me with this? is there a app to fix this or anything? I really appreciate the help

When I tried a selfie on my Moto G (and I never do), the preview screen showed a mirror image, but the shot came out correctly when I viewed in the Gallery app.
