taking pictures

I've tried to take a few pics, but when I go to take the picture, the phone goes "beep-beep" and no picture is taken. Thoughts?

It's a two stage button. So when you press it down, and here the "beep beep", that's the first stage (focusing). Now the little box will turn green, and you push the camera button down the rest of the way to take the picture.

My first time joining you guys. I love Android central. Yes this is correct. I found this myself. The camera is awesome. One thing thoug.... I took some pics at night and try to figure out how to remove that red eye flash on peoples eyes? Do you guys have any idea?

I would really like a touch button for the shutter, are than any apps that do this? Or does anyone know of an option to add it?
