Talk and data usage possible at the same time with Galaxy S7?

I just switched to Sprint two weeks ago from Verizon so didn't bother to ask this question. As far as I know, simultaneous talk and internet surfing has been possible on Verizon for years. I'm specifically speaking about usage away from Wi-Fi.

This. With the latest Sprint phones you can only use data while on WiFi. VoLTE needs to come out solve this issue.

Software and the tower has to support it. It basically means Voice-Over-LTE. Sprint will be the last one to enable this IIRC once they finally get it on.

Yeah pretty much. Sprint will need it though to get voice+data again though.

When I was with sprint my HTC evo 4g(2010) used to have simultaneous voice and data with Wimax 4G. Simultaneous voice and data feature is what evey wireless customer should have in 2016.

On wimax it was a whole different ball game with how phones were built.
