Talk app almost opens and immediately closes?

I've had my MT4G for about a week, and all the apps have been working smoothly until 2 days ago. Mainly, the Google Talk app hasn't been opening on the desk dock icon or the other icon in the all programs menu.
I've tried to use the task killer, which didn't do anything (and yes, read the recent article) and force stopped it then ran it again, but those options did nothing either.
Does anyone know what's going on or how to fix it?

I had the same problem... just hold your power button down and select Restart. It fixed the issue for me. Hope it helps!

If that doesn't work try going into settings>applications>manage apps>talk>clear cache and clear data
