Talking Galaxy Nexus

Let me be honest, I am not tech savvy. I hope someone else is! My galaxy nexus started talking to me. It recently started reading aloud facebook posts, news articles, etc. for me. Why?? What have I done??

try going into settings> accessibility
there is a talkback option in there..

Thank you, I tried going into setting>accessibility>talkback; it was off. I turned it on and off again to be sure. I also pulled the battery. My phone still insists on reading for me....

Maybe it's become self-aware and just wants to talk. Have you loaded any weird modules lately?
