Tapatalk on GN (or any Android)

Ok, I went to the Getjar site, got the code for my phone, and downloaded what I thought would be Tapatalk to my Nexus. But when I actually look at the file on my phone, it says: "GetJar.apk" with a file size of 123kb.

Is this Tapatalk, or is it the GetJar App??

Thanks.

You need to have the GetJar market to be able to get apps from them, just like with the Amazon App Store. That being said, that would be the GetJar app.

a question about GetJar .... after downloading and installing the app ... where are the .jar/.apk file for those app stored on the gnex?

thanks.

Go in to your app drawer and there is an app called Downloads. This is the default location for anything that you download on the phone.

It's getjar, search again for Tapatalk on getjar

I find tapatalk to load a lot faster and be much better on battery life.

On my tablet I prefer the browser in its desk form for forums.

yeah I looked there and only saw the getjar.apk. I got 2 apps from getjar's quick download but don't seem them in the downloads app.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but has anyone figured out how to get the free getjar version on the GN? I set out to download it and it won't let me. Says my phone isn't compatible.

No, I have Getjar. Used it for a goodly number of apps. It just won't let me get Tapatalk for some reason. Says my phone is incompatible. The paid version on Android Market seems to be more than willing to install.

I'm seeing the same exact thing. Keeps telling me there's no compatible version for the GN.
