Now with Tapatalk currently not available in the app store, how can I get it on my P5 from my P3XL?

Well that is interesting. I just checked my installed apps on Play Store and it's not there, but here I am using it. Go figure.

There is a thread on the Tapatalk Support area and the admin folks said Google removed the app for some reason. They are trying to get it back

You could try using an apk extractor app. There are a few different ones in the Play Store, and I'm not sure which one is the most trustworthy -- @Rukbat, which is the one you usually recommend?

I use App Backup & Restore - it backs up an app as an .apk file. (Put the .apk file on the other phone and just run the .apk - it will invoke the installer.)

I literally ran into this issue yesterday while setting up my apps. I temporarily install the android central forums app, but now I'm missing my other forums. Will have to do some searching for an alternative for now.

Only a reference that the app was removed from the Play Store and that paid subscriptions weren't working. No news about the reason yet.

Apk extractors or sideloading from apkmirror would do the trick, but the subscriptions won't be recognised since they are checked through the Play Store.

It should be on apk mirror. Just sideload and install.

Just got an update for Tapatalk, so I was guessing that they resolved whatever issue there was.
