Target says GB coming in May(!)

Well this is interesting. Happened to click on over to Target's mobile section just now, and they were advertising the G2X. Clicked on the page for the G2X, and it cites the phone as being 'Upgradeable to Android 2.3 'Gingerbread OS', with an asterisk.

What did that asterisk say?

Given the track record of leaks for other phones I would guess that it's in the hands of T-Mobile now.

This has been the case with a ton of other phones. Usually a leak means that it's in the testing phase of the carrier.

Don't quote me on that, though.

Cant wait for it to hit officially. Gingerbread really has increase the phones speed and battery life. Hopefully official will bring a new kernel and baseband.
