I work for a Verizon indirect agent. I see people come into my store all the time with problems with their Android phones. Of course, they typically have a task killer app. I recommend that they remove that app and the problems typically end. I feel that I understand why task killers are unnecessary and cause harm on Android but when I try to explain it to customers they look at me like I just shot their dog. So, I have two questions:
1) Why did Motorola put a stock Task Manager app on the Droid Pro?
2) How do I explain to the lay person that Task Managers are no good?
Thanks.
