Task Manager?

When I choose to look at a picture I get a pop up that asks which app I want to use and when i choose it the pop up then says go to task manager and clear default settings. What is that and where is that? What happens if I do that to all will phone reset?

That's somewhat odd behavior, but you can clear app defaults by going to the App Manager, tapping the menu button, and tapping Reset All App Preferences. This will clear any defaults apps you might have set (i.e., whenever the system asks you which app you want to use for a particular task, and you tap "Always"). It will also re-enable any disabled apps.

Long press the home button. Then click on the left icon that looks like a pie chart. That is the task manager. You will see the 4th column is clear defaults. You can clear individual app defaults there. And no it will not reset your phone. It does just what it sounds like - clears the default app setting.
