Weird task view bug

This has been happening rather frequently, where sometimes the task view fails to load the app icons and also the icons indicating if the apps are locked or not (tapping the area where the lock button is still works though).

Exiting task view and re-entering fixes it, until the next time it happens.

Attached is the bug vs. how the task view should normally look.

Which Samsung phone do you have? This would probably be better served in the subforum for that phone, rather than the general Android 14 forum, since it's likely more of a One UI issue.

I just thought it was all in the same; I didn't know there were specifics to categorize by.

Galaxy A23 5G though.

Different UIs can have somewhat different App Overview interfaces (and features), so bugginess in a particular UI may just be due to that software, rather than a general issue across all of Android.

I'll move this to the Galaxy A Series forum.

@mustang7757, have you seen this on your Samsung phones?
I haven't, maybe see what happens when you don't lock them and is it for any app or a certain one?

Ok , is it one app this issue or any?
This sometimes happens when I short-swipe up from the bottom (full screen nav gestures) to access my recent apps. They will all be missing the app icons at the tops and also the suggested apps that appear at the bottom are missing as well. It's some sort of general UI bug than pertaining to any specific app.

When was the last time you factory reset?

That might just clear up a few issues like what's happening with Android Auto unsupported device & disapearing Edge Panel. I would think it's worth a try.

This is true. Though I am worried about how much work this will cause for me to do assuming it will delete all of my apps, settings, etc. for a few issues that we don't even know for certain if it will fix. I just don't know if it's worth it. Like what if I do that but I still have all of those bugs, and then I have to deal with redoing all of my settings and apps all over again. It would just feel like I wasted a lot of time for no good cause.

You should look at it like this we tried a few different things and didn't work sometimes factory reset can fix these issues and clean up Temp data that could cause glitches, as software updates happen it's good to clean up some of it by factory reset or can try clearing cache in recovery first.
