I am not really tech smart. I have the app "tasker" I need help understanding how to set it up. I have begun reading on there website and only become confused.

What will the app do and how do I get it to?

Can't be of much help there. I use Astrid -- another task manager/list maker app -- and I love it because it syncs with Google Tasks (which does not have its own app). Unless you are already wedded to Tasker, I'd recommend giving Astrid a try.

Agree... Astrid rocks. And Syncs easy with Google Tasks

I just checked out Astride.
It is not the same type of app as tasker.
Tasker is for customizing the android done as in:

If I reach a particular (preset) GPS coordinate and am in contact with a particular (preset) bluetood device or wifi connection, and it is a particular time of day (preset) the app will make the done do a particular task like lock, send a text, lock an app, shut off or take a pic.

That is what it says it does and many more customized tasks.

I just do not understand the directions how to opperste it.
