TB gone crazy

the last 3 days my Thunderbolt has been having some issues. I take the phone off the charger after charging all night and holster it. Take it out several hours later (2-3), phone is warm or hot to the touch and upwards of 80% of the battery is drained.

I went to check the functions using the battery and there were two phone related ones using over 30% each time one was Phone Stand By and the other was Cell Service.

Does anyone have any idea what the heck is going on? Monday my phone worked just fine made phone calls listened to music about 5 hours at work used internet and sent e mails and it lasted over 9 hours. Tuesday it all went to Hell.

Verizon is overnighting me a waranty battery, but I think the 4G part of the phone has gone wonky.

If Phone Standby and Cell Service is that high, I would agree that it has something to do with either the phone antenna or maybe they are doing something with the network in your area that's causing issues.

I know if I go somewhere with a weak cell signal the phone will keep looking for a stronger signal which will run your battery down fast. When I'm in these area (metal buildings) I will turn on the airplane mode to conserve battery power.
