tb root problem

Hi! I'm new here and to smart phones. I need help. I started to root and the program I got here was interrupted by vcast opening in the background. The program told me it had stopped root and to unplug my phone and pull the battery. It also told me to start root from the beginning. It will not let me start the program again. I honestly don't know what to do. Should I try starting from downgrade. Or is there something else I don't know.about. I'm not a tech person. But I'm trying. Please help.
