Its an EVO clone.. I believe that it was shared awhile ago that the cam was 8mp in the rear minus that hump due to a new camera senor placement..

Personally for me mp doesnt really matter but to others thats all they worry about. I had an inc and a fascinate and the 5mp cam on the fascinate took just as good of pictures as the 8mp. Im just glad it has a ffc

The megapixels don't really excite me either. As long as it's more than 2, it's fine with me. When I want to take pictures, I use a camera, not my phone. For me, it's only those instances when either I or my wife don't have a camera that I use my phone for pictures. Having a phone that takes pictures is definitely a "nice to have" feature, but I don't need it to take family portraits that I'll enlarge and put over the fireplace.

I wonder what they are referring to though with the "HD entertainment, instantly" statement in their ad. I'm assuming that the DOLT will take HD video. But, does the "instantly" then refer to streaming HD video? Since there's no HDMI port, I'm assuming then that this refers to streaming over 4G/LTE or would it be DLNA?

Well, to view HD video on this device, you would need an HD screen! Sure, you can watch HD video but it won't be in HD resolution.

I'm just hoping Google comes out with an updated GTalk client at CES (one that is released through the market) that has "S" "D" "R" features like BBM and has a built-in, system-wide video chat option!

Especially in cameraphones,the camera software is way more important than raw megapixel numbers. Just ask most Motorola owners.

Yep, very true. But there's no HDMI port (at least from anything I've seen). So it would have to be streamed to an HD device either over 4G/LTE or DLNA. Right?

Yeah, and from my experience, DLNA doesn't work perfectly. This could all mean a Verizon LTE V-Cast service of some sort. Who know, they may just advertise it as "HD video right to your Dolt" when it isn't actually HD video. Knowing Verizon, they may just do that lol
