TBH RootedGB vs OTA GB

what's the difference in these 2, other than, of course, ones rooted and ones not. I feel that battery drain on either GB has been substantial as compared to FROYO.

I use tbh rooted and my lady has stock.. Both seem to have more battery drain, more slOwdowns (even though it's generally faster) and more random reboots... Leading me to believe that it's dx gb in general.

There shouldn't really be any diffrence because the rooted version was made from the OTA build, the developer just slipstreamed the root files into the installation and I believe he didn't do any mods to the installation.

As for battery life, my device has had better battery life since update and I haven't had one issue so far.

I'm also running the rooted Gingerbread and it seems to me battery life is better. I'm sure it depends on what apps are running. I know when I installed Gingerbread I did a wipe and clean install first. I didn't reload quite a few apps that I wasn't using so the better battery life I'm seeing may be from fewer things updating and running in the background.
