I have a 2 year old Tbolt that acts flakey from time to time. It also runs sluggish after the ics upgrade. I have an unlimited data plan, and plan to buy a phone outright. The question is which phone. I haven't been totally happy with the phone due to various bugs/performance issues. So, I'm not sure if I want to consider another HTC phone. The Samsung Galaxy S III seems well regarded. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Wait for the galaxy s 4 or get the note 2.

If you can handle the extra size, the Note 2 is a notably better device than the S3. Not that there's anything seriously wrong with the S3, just the Note 2 is even better. Better processor, better radios, better battery, better screen, S-Pen, etc. But, it will seem huge at first. After a week or so though, I stopped noticing it and everything else just feels small. I re-purposed my T-bolt and made it a dedicated music player in the garage. :)

Do a factory reset and it will speed up. You may still want a new phone, but at least you wont be suffering while you wait
