Team BAMF

I just saw on Droid Life that theres a new ROM from Team BAMF out now, anyone have a chance to check it out yet? I'm curious because the articles says its the !(in more eliquent words) and I know nothing of ROMS since this is my first Android phone.

I'm "newer" than some people in the sense that my first android phone was the Bionic, so I wasn't around for BAMF's work which I gather from reading was primarily on the Tbolt previously..

That being said, just seeing the response to their ROM coming out will tell you a lot of people are very excited so they have to do some things right. Check their thread at rootz, read the OP.. certainly sounds like a lot of features they've packed in and built on their own, with their own design, not kanged from CM or AOKP or anywhere else, [ROM] BAMF Paradigm v1.0 [4.0.3] - RootzWiki

So yeah, I'm sure it would be checking out. I'm currently too excited that DroidTh3ory is back and putting tweaks into AOKP before he releases a new version of Axi0m... so thats where I'll be, lol.

ok, so been playing around with it, actually setting it up.... the features are awesome, the start up is ok, but you can take off the sounds, without the song is pretty sick. Tons of features to play with and tweak. Going to keep messing around with it, so far Im sad to say I had a random reboot and a system UI lock spam had to pull battery. Since then no problems been running flawless.

Bamf roms were very solid on tbolt. Haven't tried this out yet but it looks promising .

ah, just listened to it, definitely is. Also The opening The Diary Of Jane by breaking benjamin is pretty much identical

Loved BAMF on my Tbolt and was waiting for them to do something better than what they had, I love BBeast but I may just try this for a change. Haven't tried any of the other popular ROM's out there, time to change that!

I'm definitely liking it, but feel AOKP was smoother and was getting MUCH better battery life, looks like I'll flash back to that tonight.......all this flashing is getting a little crazy, I've spent more time in the last week flashing ROMS and setting phone up than anything else!

Overall its been rock solid for me. Has played nice with imo's notrim kernel which aokp did not. I miss some aokp features but bamf has always hooked it up on features so I'm sure great things are yet to come. I do not think aokp was smoother though but every phone is different experience will vary.
