Be5n, I see a lot peoples concern is battery life. Can you tell us what you know? Would you suggest getting an extended battery?
The battery is not going to be as bad as you think it is. I use my phone moderately and it will last the full day. I personally don't like the extended battery since it makes the phone bulky, but what you can do, and what I plan to do, is buy another 1400 mAh battery and a charger, and just carry it with me and switch it out when the current battery gets low. You can charge them both up at night and it will last the whole day and maybe even longer with heavy use.
Thank you sir. For me all I ask is for the battery to last a full day and I will be happy but if I charge it at night and then have to recharge at 1300 I will be disappointed. What about getting the 1600mAh (I think that's the size it is), will that require a new battery back?
Bennnnn.....does your TB have a 4G widget toggle? When you say that your phone will last a full day with "moderate" use is that with the 4G enabled or turned off....assuming there is a switch to turn it on or off. There is another post by a person with a review unit and on his phone he hasn't been able to find any way to turn off the 4G. Last report on his first full charge was he only got +/- 2 hours of heavy usage and his battery was at 55%.
Thanks,
Bryan
I would be willing to bet you'll see reviews show up tomorrow morning.
Would be nice to see some before then.
I think our best chances of good reviews are from Bennnn and RubyTuesday.
We should get one from Ruby Tuesday this pm as he has had his phone since yesterday and today would be his first full day of usage.
I haven't seen one when I used the Thunderbolt, but I also didn't go looking for it. As BMX said there is one and I don't doubt it. I'm sure there is a way to toggle it, probably hidden in the settings or something. Also, those are beta units, not final production units.
Can't do my review until Verizon give me the go ahead.![]()
