Have to give kudos to Google tech support... Was having trouble accessing Google assistant via voice match... after following the online help article, I connected with a tech via chat and within 15 minutes, she was able to get out back up working... Just to let you know (at least in my case), it either was the latest update to the Google app or there was a conflict with Nova Launcher (I participate in the beta program of Nova Launcher)... Anyway, she was very helpful!
