Technical help needed - bluetooth

Hi. Unfortunately we have been subjected to the OTA lollipop update this has caused many issues but the one that is kind of like toothache is this. Constant music skips when streaming to bluetooth device.

However if screen is on the music plays perfectly.

I have figured out how to stop the screen timing out which means music is great however battery isn't!

Any ideas very welcome.

Put it in here as your answer fixed nothing. It's not even possible to clear the partition cache like that.
