Question Teclast T65 - disable lock screen

I have a very specific use case, for a budget tablet (Teclast T65) to have a video screensaver, and a full screen browser. I have successfully got this working, however unfortunately when tapping the screen to stop the screensaver, it goes to the lock screen. I need to somehow disable the lock screen. It's currently on Android 15, but I'm prepared to flash the firmware/do whatever is needed for this to work. This is the only use for this tablet so it's ok to have a much lower version of android if that's needed.

To fully disable the lock screen on your Teclast T65 tablet, navigate to the security settings and select the "None" option for the screen lock.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Open Settings: Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the notification panel, then tap the Settings cog icon (or find the Settings app in your app drawer).
2. Navigate to Security: Scroll down in the Settings menu and tap on Security, Security & privacy, or Lock screen and security (exact wording may vary slightly depending on your Android version).
3. Select Screen Lock: Tap on the Screen lock or Screen lock type option.
4. Enter Current Lock (if applicable): You will be prompted to enter your current PIN, pattern, or password to proceed.
5. Choose "None": Select the None option from the list of available lock methods.
6. Confirm: A warning message will appear, informing you that disabling the lock screen will also remove any biometric security methods (like face unlock or fingerprint). Tap Delete or Confirm to proceed.

Once these steps are completed, your Teclast T65 tablet will go directly to the home screen when you press the power button, with no lock screen or swipe required.
