tempered glass glare

I realize this may need to go to the accessories forum but I feel like it would be more relevant and catch more replies here. I work in an office with more than enough overhead florescent lighting and to paint a picture for you I turn the warmth on my monitors all the way up just to soften the blow to my eyes.

My huge complaint is that my tempered glass screen protector catches the direct light from above creating a hateful glare that makes seeing notifications impossible while laying uncovered or in the open in my desk. So my question is, are there anti-glare screen protectors or am I just a dreamer?
