I'm not sure if it's worth upgrading to Bionic since I have the Droid x but LTE and ffc is a give in. I deploy in July so is it even worth it I dunno my upgrade is due in september.

It's all in personal taste. I have a fascinate and I'm looking into buying the thunderbolt. If you really want LTE or the front facing camera its all up to you. I think the Droid x is a great device but all you can do is wait until its released and see how everyone else is rating it. From there you can make your decision since its release date is only weeks away.

Well, you could wait for the DX2 if you aren't going to be in an LTE area. (unless they don't chagre extra for LTE)

Wait till after your deployment. Some thing newer, faster, and better will prob be out or about to come out when you come back, and you can get what ever that is then. Just stick with the DX till July.

Dual core isn't worth the upgrade if you are looking for an upgrade? Like I said, the only reason I would go for a DX2 over the Bionic would be if LTE cost more.

Let's pray it gets here soon. I'm already tired of waiting... they really shouldn't announced the phone so far in advance..I feel like I've waited for a month...usually when they announce it phone it comes out w/in a month (droid 2, droid x, iphone etc.). Why must we be tortured with a 4-6 month wait.

Totally agree. I feel so helpless knowing there's nothing I can do but wait. I'm so impatient, this wait is killing me a little bit at a time.

I was originally leaning towards the Thunderbolt but the Bionic became really tempting at 199.

That's what I'm waiting for. If it comes out this summer then I have a few months to save up for it.
