I've been trying to figure out how to add an external USB hard drive to my phone's filesystem. The device is a Western Digital USB drive, a standalone, self-powered unit, which I've used in the past on my computer with FreeBSD and Linux.
I'm stymied at this time by the fact that there seems to be no "mount" command in TermUX. Am I just trying to go about this the wrong way? Is TermUX just not the right approach?
Looking in the ES file manager, I'm not seeing any signs of the device being recognized at all, and no obvious entry for it under /dev, either.
Can anyone offer any advice on how to get the drive to be recognized and added to the filesystem?
Thanks for any help!
