Since the most recent T-Mobile update, my battery life has gone from excellent to terrible. I don't know if it's related. Trying to see if anything else has changed. I'm at 66% right now at 9:43am after waking up at 6am. Barely using the phone directly. See below. Any thoughts?View attachment 303551
For me it's the carrier version. I suspect it's actually the installation of Pushbullet. It's not showing up as a battery user at all. But it's capturing events and relaying them to my Mac. Most likely culprit. I had forgotten that I installed it recently. Is this for the carrier variant or does this apply to the unlocked variant as well? I have the unlocked variant on the April patch and the phone sips battery. I was actually wondering when the May patch would be out.

I have my screen on adaptive. I have a timeout or 1 min. But that's irrelevant. This battery went from insanely good to really bad with the identical settings. In 3 hours, you had the screen on for 1/3 of the time, that's why the bad prediction. Turn the screen brightness down - it's usually comfortable way lower than 100% - and set the timeout for about 30 seconds. How long do you have to stare at a screen that's not doing anything?
I'm on the May update from Verizon, and I've seen battery improvements. Hopefully that holds true for the T-mobile variant as well.

Not yet. I've tried a few other things first, but that is one of my next steps. I'm starting with purging apps I don't absolutely need, or that were installed recently since this doesn't seem to be related to the April update. If that doesn't work, I'll try disable more unnecessary stuff using Package Disabler Pro. If that doesn't work, I'll clear the cache. Finally if that doesn't, I'll reset.Have you tried clearing cache in recovery?

My issue has been resolved. I'm not sure if it was turning all notifications in Pushbullet other than SMS off, of uninstalling some recent apps. But it's no longer an issue.
Thanks for your suggestions and help. That's great! Glad it was minor , didn't have to factory reset.
After resetting my phone, the battery is significantly better. I did not restore from a backup, setup as a new phone. I haven't added any new apps recently and battery used didn't show anything unusual. I was losing 30% in just 2 hours with the phone at idle for the most part, now I'm losing almost nothing, back to normal. My issue has been resolved.
