Tesco Kit Bluetooth keyboard

Just wondering if anyone else has tried the KIT slim Bluetooth keyboard recently available from Tescos. Well I have and report that it connects very easily but many of the functions do not work. Holding down the shift key does not allow access to the extra characters whilst connected to a Nexus 7 it does however function normally on an iPhone so its not the keyboard at fault. Another nause is that it has to be Paired every time you want to use it because though it shows up in the Bluetooth list as paired it clearly is not.
Bought yesterday and will be returning today. It does say works with most Tablets and smart phones just not one of the most popular ie the Nexus 7... Anyone else got a recommendation either to make this work or what other Bluetooth keyboard actually works..

Found exactly the same thing with it on my Nexus 7 and Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 10.1 - I get the impression it doesn't actually work with Android despite their claims. Shame as it is exactly what I want.

This is an error that is occurring with a number of keyboards since 4.3. It is Android, not your keyboard.

No, the shift key does not work correctly with my laptop either. Seems to be a design fault. Other keys are a bit randomly mapped too. Avoid.

edit - just had email from the uk distributror, kondor, they are apparently working on a fix. fingers crossed.

Hi. I have a Kondor Bluetooth keyboard model KBSLBKNK from tesco. Unfortunately I don't have the manual for it and can't seem to get any android tablet or phone to pair with it. Can anybody advise what one has to do to pair devices first time. I switch the keyboard on, go into my Bluetooth device to search for the keyboard but nothing comes up. I have tried searching for the keyboard using my galaxy note phone and my Asus memo pad HD tablet. Neither can find the keyboard. Any help would be much appreciated.
