If you have Galaxy S7e with Android v. 8.0.0.

Call someone, anyone, ask them if they can hear the tones when you press a few number keys.

I bet they cannot.

You will hear the tones on your phone but, if you have v 8, the other party will be unable to hear any tones.

If you have an earlier Android version, I think they will hear your tones.

I’m curious.

Question for you: what happens if you call an "automated attendant" that uses key tones as menu responses? Does that work for you?
